Compliance Vetting Protocol | GA Pest Control Gold Shield
The Gold Shield Standard: Protocol 12

Compliance Vetting

The foundation of professional pest management is strict adherence to Georgia law.

Protocol 12 is the final safety net of the Gold Shield Standard. Before a provider is listed in our directory, we conduct a comprehensive vetting process to ensure they meet all state-mandated legal and safety requirements. This protocol protects Georgia households from unverified or sub-standard operators.

The Credential Audit

We verify that every provider maintains an active structural pest control license with the Georgia Department of Agriculture. We do the background work so you don't have to.

Compliance Audit Pillars

  • State Licensing: Verifying active Category 24 (Structural Pest Control) or Category 31 (Public Health) credentials.
  • Insurance Verification: Auditing for active general liability and workers' compensation coverage to protect homeowners from liability.
  • Regulatory History: Checking for a history of compliance with the Georgia Structural Pest Control Act.
  • Continuing Education: Confirming that technicians meet state-mandated training hours to stay current on safety standards.

The Vetting Filter:

Gold Shield status is not permanent. Protocol 12 requires ongoing monitoring of provider credentials. If a provider's compliance slips, they are removed from our active directory until the issue is resolved.
